Dear all:
We came to this lab around a month ago. It is a real pitty we could not make progress here this semester, but the demonstrations and strikes have made it difficult. I do hope you have studied on your own and realized that all these social movements have a cost.
Today I'd like you to do something fun while practicing your English. Because we are talking about happiness, personality cannot be left out. Being realistic, our personality plays a major role on how happy we are and how we see things.
The first task will be to have a read at this article from 2008.

Secondly, please look for any other interesting articles that relate personality and happiness or something related. POST the link on your blog or on the comment space below.
I'd like you to take the following quiz individually. Please open wordreference to check vocabulary. This is a pretty colloquial site.
Please make sure you take notes of the things you find accurate or inaccurate.

We will comment later.
cheers.

Good morning everyone.
Today we have 3 activities.
Research 20 mins.
Look online for the luckiest or unluckiest person you can find. at 9:15 you will have to present the story to your classmates. This is an individual task.
Look at this website and check the use of the past perfect. Do the first activity ONLY!

Post 1
Dear all:
Good morning! Congratulations on your effort. I hope you all enjoy the blogging experience and learn loads from each other. It is important you know writing has a huge impact on the L2 learning process. This is why I hope you take it seriously. I'll give you work to do on a weekle basis. One of the main features of blogging is the chance of leaving messages to each other. Therefore, your links are vital!
This blog will be used as a diary on your readings and experiences. Remember your mark will be related to the number of posts & the quality of them.
To begin with, you need to create a gmail account (If you don't have one!). Then, go to blogger.com and follow the instructions. Please remember to change the language during set up so that your blog is in English. REMEMBER YOU NEED A NEW BLOG FOR THIS LEVEL. THE OLD ONE DOESN'T COUNT.
1. If you have a google account: sign in first, if you don’t have a google account: create a google account
2. Go to: http://www.blogger.com/
3. Click: create your blog now
4. Name your blog
5. Choose any template you like
6. Go to dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page & change the language to English.
7. Go to design, add a gadget, link list and link ALL your classmates'and MY blog
8. Start posting (dashboard)PLEASE WRITE YOUR POST BEFORE YOU CUSTOMISE YOUR BLOG!
As a first task, I't like you to write a post about a piece of news. 2011 is coming to an end soon. A lot of things have happened from January 1st, therefore, I'd like you to choose a pice of news that has caught your attention, and write. Please make sure you find out details on the net. Write around 200 words. Make sure you post 3 comments on 3 of your classmates blogs. Thanks in advance for your hard work.
